Exciting things are happening, so I wanted to share an update of a couple events that could use your support as well as organizations that you may have not heard about!
Lip Sync With Our Stars
For this year’s Lip Sync With Our Stars, hosted by the Center for the Homeless, Jaime Murphy, Director of Programs from Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka, and I are participating to fundraise for CFH. Follow this link or tap on either image to get to voting and donating!
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30th, 2026 as we take the stage to lip sync a duet from Frozen!
The Center opened December 18, 1988 and has served more than 65,000 individuals experiencing homelessness. The Center strives to break the cycle of homelessness for men, women, children and Veterans.
Top Host
Over the course of my life in performance on stage and on screen, I’ve hosted public and private events from fashion shows, karaoke parties, music bingo, trivia, and corporate holiday parties. I’ve appeared in local cable access programs as well going all the way back to high school daily, closed-circuit news, and a radio show in college.
Recently, I scored a spot in a national competition sponsored by iHeart Radio for a 9 episode podcast, a chance to appear on a show with Ryan Seacrest, and $25,000!!
You can vote here for free once a day, and if you’d like to vote more than once, you can do so with a donation!
More about Leadership SBM
Leadership SBM has been operating for over 50 years, holding year-long cohorts for local leaders at the professional and student level. I participated as a member of Signature Class 52 (Best Class Ever!) and graduated in May of 2026. I’ve lived in the South Bend area since 2013, but in the 9 months of our Signature Class 52 programming, I learned more about South Bend/Mishawaka, and met more professionals, leaders, and innovators than ever before. Enjoy some highlight videos I made over the course of Signature Class 52.
More about RISE
Since February of this year, I’ve been a member of the RISE team, teaching entrepreneurship classes at Career Academy and now Howard Park (StartUp Moxie). RISE is amazing resource for high school students and their staff and programming are fantastic. Highly recommend.
